Meet the Founder

Hi Lovely Human,

My name is Angelin and I am passionate about community building!

I'm currently a student at Yale double majoring in Molecular Biology and History, aspiring to be a doctor-entrepreneur. I used to be interested in the biomedical art of healing and conducted regenerative medicine research for 4 years (during this time, I learned about cosmetic formulations). However, when my friend Sophia was diagnosed with a rare pancreatic cancer at 16, my worldview shifted. There's more to healing than therapies- the way our patients feel is so important. I wanted to bring knowledge about cosmetic formulations outside the lab and empower patients. Forever Kin is in honor of Sophia's legacy.

Sophia was radiantly positive, resilient, and a strong advocate for self care. She started a blog called "Cancer Chronicles" where she documented her day-to-day and shared her appreciation for the "small things", like makeup, that lifted her spirits.

In her memory, I'm making care packages with fun lip glosses for other girls as a tool for their self care and expression. We also include community building tools such as a community hope journal and chat support group.

Making custom lip glosses for you is my joy and happiness! Thank you for joining me on this mission of spreading joy.
